Ben Scurfield, a resident of Humboldt County since 1999, has built his business on helping home and business owners to learn about and install renewable energy systems. He's proud of the reputation he has built in the area as one of the premier solar installers on the North Coast.

Beth Deibert, Sales and Design

A resident of Humboldt County since February 1998, Beth joined Scurfield Solar in February 2007 (after surviving Ben’s grueling interview process that stretched over 4 weeks, a total of 25 hours) with a B.S. in Solar Engineering Technology from Colorado Tech. She came to Scurfield Solar with two years experience in designing solar hot water, photovoltaic and radiant floor heating systems, as well as over 5 years in architectural design and construction. You’ll find Beth in the office several days a week and on site visits any time. Her knowledge and passion for solar energy will help keep Scurfield Solar on the leading edge of solar design and installation in Humboldt County

Bryce Mayall, Installation and Sales

Bryce moved to Humboldt County in 2001 to get his B.S. in Environmental Science from HSU. That accomplished, he got his start in the solar business three years ago doing sales. Now his love of quality (and chocolate) is being satisfied by installing renewable energy systems with Scurfield Solar. When he isn’t installing, designing or thinking about solar, Bryce is bicycling, exploring and trying to make time for his photography.
