GRANT AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIAL SOLAR PROJECTS

Attention Small Businesses and Agricultural Producers of Humboldt County!

Scurfield Solar would like to invite you to attend an informational presentation about funding that is available for your business to invest in Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency projects.

We will be discussing the US Department of Agriculture’s Rural Energy of America Program (REAP) Grant. If awarded, your company could receive funding for up to 25% of your project cost for installing Renewable Energy Equipment or making Energy Efficiency Improvements. Of course the 30% Federal Tax Credit is also available! In total, these two incentives could cover 55% of your system cost!

Small Businesses and Small Agricultural Producers in Humboldt County are ideal candidates for this grant because of preferences towards businesses that have less than 15 employees or less than $1 million in annual receipts.

Other applicable business sectors include: Commercial, Agricultural, Institutional, Schools, Local Governments, State Governments, Tribal Governments and more.

Unfortunately this grant is not available for Residential Customer or Non-Profits.

FINANCING OPTIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!

Scurfield Solar now offers financing for
home improvement projects!!

Would you like to install a new furnace, water heater, radiant floor, solar electric or solar hot water system? We can help you finance and install these projects with the Federal Housing Authority's (FHA) Title 1 Home Improvement Loan program!

FHA Title 1 Loan:
NO EQUITY
NO PREPAYMENT PENALTIES
TAX DEDUCTIBLE INTEREST (secure loans only)
Available Terms: 5,7,10,15, & 20 Years

Loan Amounts:
Up to $25,000 secured with fixed rates from 6.95% - 11.95%
Up to 7,500 unsecured with fixed rates from 7.95% - 13.95%

Payment on a $25,000 loan over 20 years will not exceed $300 per month.

The application process is fast and simple! With only a few documents provided, you can be approved over the phone in a few minutes or within 24 hours if documents are submitted online or faxed in. If approved, you will have cash in hand to begin your project within 12 days!!

Remember, State and Federal Incentives for investing in solar and energy efficient appliances are still available! Any rebates that are awarded could be pocketed or put toward the loan payment at your discretion.
