Education:

Ben Scurfield, owner of Scurfield Solar, is an Instructor at College of the Redwoods in Eureka, teaching Solar Hot Water classes.

Ben has taught community workshop courses on Solar Energy at the Arcata Education Farm in Bayside and at CCAT (California Center for Appropriate Technology) in Arcata.

Scurfield Solar has also been hired as "hands on" instructor for San Diego’s Solar Water Heating Pilot Program as part of the California Solar Initiative Program.
